This is the coolest place to bring a family or to learn how to telemark ski. That's what we did last year. My boys learned to ski, while I tried telemark skiing for the 1st time. It was affordable, but also so fun and un-crowded. We'll definitely go back this year. We might go to Purgatory (Durango Mtn) for a day too. We paid $15 to ski at Kendall Mtn in Silverton. Our kids were free.
