Snowmass to this day remains very close to my heart. Snowmass is where I learned to ski/snowboard and my grandparents were part owners of a small ski-in/out condo. I have not been there for a few years but when I was last there it was amazing. The terrain is some of the best east of Summit County. The gladed terrain is the absolute best one will find. All upper areas of the mountain are great for all levels and the Cirque poma is offers an amazing view of other peaks in the area and access to a really fun bowl. The only thing I did not like about the place was that, now it probably has changed since the gondolas were put into place, the lines were very long at the bottom of the mountain. Once one gets up past the bottom half of the mountain it is all fun and great snow.

Snowmass, CO... It really is the best. I grew up going to Snowmass and worked my way through the ski school. Every couple years someone would say "Oh you have to try X Resort." So we did... the nest year... back to snowmass!!! Returning again this year with my fiancee for her first ski experience. I have since moved on to snowboarding but wow is snowmass great for boarders also!
Do NOT hesitate to try Snowmass. It will make trip planning that much easier every year because you know where you will want to go!
