| Aspen Mountain will bring high-altitude cuisine to new levels with the launch of five new restaurants. Perched at 11,212 feet, a new 22,000 square foot Sundeck will feature 30-foot ceilings and a massive rock fireplace and will house a cafeteria - Sundeck, sit-down restaurant - Benedicts, and a semi-private club - The Aspen Mountain Club. The main dining area will feature wok and rotisserie stations as well as an extensive salad bar. In addition, Gwyn Gordon Knowlton, formerly of the acclaimed Gwyn's High Alpine at Snowmass will open a restaurant at the base of the Ruthie's chairlift. Gwyn's will offer both table-service and cafeteria-style restaurants and will feature Gordon Knowlton's award-winning cuisine including seafood and grilled salads. |
