DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT EVER SHOP OR RENT FROM THIS PLACE. GOOD SELECTION, BUT WORST SERVICE AND WORSE STAFF OF EMPLOYEES THAT I'VE EVER WITNESSED. COMPLETELY ARROGANT AND RUDE. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!

This place at first seems like a good spot to rent from: very close to the mountain, younger/knowledgable employees, and signs that say "shop local". But never judge a book by its cover.

The staff is probably the rudest, most arrogant crew that I've ever experienced at a ski/snowboard shop. Me and my buddy went there to rent a board and boots for the day. The guy took our shoe sizes, and then came out with 2 sets of boots. Very dirty, in very bad shape. Not comfortable, not insulated, completely worn out. I figured its only for one day, so I looked past it. He then came out with two boards, one with a 152cm lenght, one at 155cm, not really asking what our preference was. I asked if he had a longer board, and this is the response i got "Dude, its only a few centimeters, you're only riding it for 1 day". At that point I probably should have just left the spot, but since we were eager to get on the mountain we just went with it, crappy boots and all.

After getting to the mountain, we spent most of the morning teaching my buddy how to board. Finally, late morning, we made 2 runs. After the second run, however, the base of the binding cracked, causing one of the straps to fall out. we thought of getting back in the car and going back to the shop to exhange it out, but at this point it wasnt worth it so I rented from the mountain, thinking Outkast would be nice enough to provide a refund or credit.

So we get back to the shop in the evening, and I tell them about the binding cracking. So the guy called his boss, talking to him for like 5 minutes. Meanwhile the other employee looked at my buddy's, the beginner's, board that he was returning. She looked at it, and asked why there was so much snow trapped under the bindings. We told her he was a beginner and he fell a lot. Her reply "Still, i've never seen so much snow get trapped under".

Meanwhile, the other guy got off the phone with his boss, however did not offer any refund or credit. I than asked him for a refund or credit, at which point he called his boss again. 5 minutes later, he said okay. Then he asked to see the receipt from the other rental that I got. I must have thrown it out, cuz I couldn't find it. Then he asked why there was so much fresh snow on the board! How am I supposed to know? The board was sitting outside, and it was cold out. Perhaps it didnt melt off, i dont know. The fact that he had the nerve to doubt me was completely unacceptable, especially considering that it was the shop's crappy, ineffective equipment that did not work. After some arguing, the guy said he couldn't do anything. It was only over $35 or so, and wasn't worth my time, so I walked out. Which i regret at this point, solely out of principle.
