My wife and I have been sking for over forty years. We have skied at most of the major ski resorts in Colorado and Utah. We have rented equipment several time from the usual ski rental shops. They all have one thing in common, waiting in long lines to get service. This year we decided to test the new ski rental delivery services offered by Door to Door. What a great service. Ski vacations are expensive. Using door to door allowed more time on the slopes increasing the value of our vacation. Free equipment delivery,free custom fittings and free eqiupment pick-up, what a great value. Door to Door you have a customer for life.

I used Door 2 Door ski rentals for the first time this year and was very satisfied with the service I received. For the last fifteen years I've went directly to the rental shop and haven't had any complaints. I didn't know what I was missing. The ski rental delivery service was new to me but it was clearly old hat to the knowledgable guys from Door to Door. I had my doubts when I submitted an online reservation but the guys from Door 2 Door brought an array of Demos for me to choose from. I ultimately went with what they recommended and I had a terrific time on a beautiful set of skis. I suppose the true test was passed when they fitted my wife for a pair of comfortable yet responsive boots. She actually spent quite a bit of time on the slopes, so thanks for that Door 2 Door. I would highly recommend this service to anyone who rents their equipment. I'll be seeing you next year, Door 2 Door.

We arrived in Beaver Creek and the driver/ski tech was late meeting us. When he did arrive he kept repeating how busy he was. He brought a small selection based on the information we had sent to him. One member of our group, a first time skier was being fitted and the tech was forcing boots on her feet that would not fit. Made her cry - we got through that - which he seemed to care less about because he was busy and in a hurry. He left her with the boots that didn't fit with a promise he would go back and look for more. Never heard from him again. She had a $300 private lesson the next morning which she couldn't take because she was in such pain with the boots she couldn't even stand up in them.
My boots pintched my ankle the entire time and the process to change them out was not worth the money we spent extra having them bring them to you. Take my advice - Join the Peaks reward system - rent from Beaver Creek resort and get the extra points towards free lift tickets. To change the boots out you walk PAST the resort store to get to Christy's where you have to exchange them. Called and asked him if he was going to just going to desert us with all the issues we were having the next day and where told that he was very busy and he would call back later - never called back. DO NOT USE D2D! I have visted Beaver Creek 4 times and most all the other resorts in Colorado at one time or another over the past ten years and this was over priced and under serviced.. Trey Horton
