The Stratton Ski and Snowboard School's illustrious history continues to break new ground this season.
New for school this season, will be the Teen Instructor Program at Stratton, or TIPS, which had a very successful pilot season, last year, and the We-Xplore environmental program.
History of Ski School...
Building on top of a solid foundation of learning, which includes the first bona fide ski school for children (Little Cub 1961), the first Ski Academy (Stratton Mountain School 1972), and the world's first Snowboard school (with Burton in 1983), the legacy of learning will continue this season, thanks to cutting edge instruction and coaching for all abilities.
Just for Learning...
The Learning Park at Stratton, offers over 45 acres of teaching terrain, gentle enough for first timers and big enough to entertain returning beginners. Serviced by four lifts, the Learning Park provides an ideal campus for beginners with programs that include complete rental, two lessons and a lift ticket.

The Stratton Mountain Ski and Snowboard School is filled with top quality instructors serviced by an elite staff and administration. We are grateful to have talented people such as Alison Cummings, the Junior Ski and Snowboard School Manager, at our mountain.
