Stowe Mountain Resort kids programs are headquartered at Spruce Peak , where the broad and gentle runs make a great environment for learning. More advanced skiers and riders will venture farther afield to explore the terrain that has given Stowe its reputation as the best in the East.

Slope time and terrain used during a lesson are determined by coaches and vary based on ability of the group, slope conditions and the weather.

Lesson options are designed to be age-appropriate to ensure a fun, positive experience for your child. We offer full-day, semi-private and private lessons.

Shannon Benner, our Children's Programs Manager has been working with youth in experiential education programs for more than 15 years.

Marsha Curtis, our Training Manager is an Advanced Children's Educator certified by the Professional Ski Instructors of America.

Jim Doykos, the On Hill Children's Supervisor is also accredited with the Professional Ski Instructors of America. His philosophy in working with young people is to have fun, while focusing on building confidence. Keep your eyes peeled for Jim on the mountain!!

Corey Andersen is another Children’s On Hill Supervisor with the Stowe Ski and Snowboard School. This will be Corey’s 6th season working with Adventure programs.
