Ski School
Ski School offers exciting programs and activities for skiers of all ages and abilities. Our Ski Instructors will help you excel quickly and get more enjoyment out of your lesson.
From resort opening day, through closing day, phone reservations will be taken seven days a week. You can also purchase lessons at the following locations.
* Snow Park Ski School, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
* Snow Park Rental Shop, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
* Silver Lake Rental Shop, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
* Children's Center, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
* The Lodges at Deer Valley, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
* Stein Eriksen Lodge, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Advance reservations are essential for all Deer Valley Skier Services throughout the ski season, especially during the December holiday, Martin Luther King weekend, Presidents' Day week and the month of March. All activities begin promptly at their designated start times. Due to the size of the resort and the number of skiers enrolled in activities, we are not able to accommodate late arrivals.
Ski Ability Zones - Please refer to this ski ability chart when selecting a lesson:
First-timer - Never skied before or not able to stop
Beginner - Skied before and able to ride chairlift and stop
Advanced Beginner - Comfortable on all Green and easy Blue terrain
Intermediate - Gaining confidence on Blue terrain
Advanced - Comfortable on all Blue and easy Black terrain
Expert - Master of Black terrain
