Kids like to have fun and in Taos the Children's Center is all about fun. At our state-of-the-art children's ski school and daycare facility, children receive personalized attention in a creative learning environment complete with its own lifts, terrain and sports accessories shop.

Parents can ski knowing their children are in the care of specially trained instructors who excel at turning kids into confident lifelong skiers.

Kinderkäfig Children’s Center
At Taos Ski Valley, we have all kinds of activities for families and teens. Skiing has always been a family affair at Taos Ski Valley. So we make it easy to introduce your children to skiing while ensuring you have a great time, too.

We’ve developed a series of unique children’s programs led by specially-trained instructors and housed in a state-of-the-art facility kids will be comfortable using as a “home base” during the day. Children even have their own ski area, pint-sized lifts, special terrain, and equipment shop.

Bebekare
6 weeks to 1 year old
Our littlest guests will be comfortable and happy under the

Kinderkare
1 to 3 years old
Snowplay, creative indoor activities, and yummy snacks make for a full and fun day for one to three year olds. The all-day program includes two snacks and lunch. » $75/one day » $55/half day » $25 per hour

Junior Elite I
3 years old to first grade
A passion for skiing starts here! Kids three years old through first grade learn the basics of the sport in small classes during this all-day program. They’ll also enjoy fun indoor and outdoor activities while they make new friends. Includes all day lifts, lessons, lunch and free rentals. » $105/one day » $500/five days » $600/six days

Junior Elite II
Second grade to 15 years old
Our friendly snow coaches teach a love of the sport and the mountains to older kids of all skiing abilities. Not only will your kids be better skiers, they’ll build their confidence and have a great time, too. Includes all day lifts, lessons, lunch and free rentals. » $105/one day » $500/five days » $600/six days
