Whether you're totally new to our winter sports, or looking to improve your skills, we've got an instructional program for you.
Our professional instructors and specialized programs and techniques will make it easy for you to become a skier or rider, or both! And most importantly, you're going to have a blast!
The Mountain Creek Snow Sports School provides a progressive learning experience for all ages and abilities.
Get the one on one attention you need in a Private Clinic. Give the little ones an activity they'll embrace for life with our MC Kids programs.
Let our station teaching method help you advance quickly in our Group Clinics and Learn To packages.
Looking for something more? Our special programs include the new Girls Ride Tribe, Ladies Club, the Burton® Learn to Ride program, the Salomon® Ski Adventure program and telemark instruction!
Private Clinic
This highly-focused instruction provides one-on-one attention from your instructor to give you the skills you need to take your skiing or riding to it's highest level. Plus, get a group of up to 4 friends together and save!
Each additional person that you add to your private clinic is only $29 for a one-hour session and $77 per three-hour session. Clinics are available at every ability level, from beginner to advanced. Availability is limited. Reservations are strongly recommended.
Private clinics are offered every hour on the hour from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily. Lift ticket not included.
New this year, Private Clinics will be available for advance booking online.
Mountain Creek Kids
The best way to get young skiers and riders off to a great start! Our programs combine the fun of discovery, the challenge of trying new things and the excitement of mastering new skills, all in a safe environment.
Let your children experience the fun of skiing or snowboarding this winter. Mountain Creek Kids is designed to meet the needs of our budding skiers ages 4 through 12, and snowboarders ages 6 through 12*. Kids are led by our dynamic instructors in both outdoor and indoor activities. All MC Kids programs include instruction, lift tickets, and lunch!
Kids are grouped according to age and ability level. The size of group lessons varies according to ability level and daily attendance. On-snow lesson time may vary according to snow conditions and weather. Reservations are non refundable but can be rescheduled with 24 hours advance notice.
NEW -full day and half day sessions are available for booking online.
MC Kids Kamp sessions meet on the upper level of the South Lodge at Mountain Creek South 7 days a week, and are also available at the star covered building in the Vernon Base on weekends and holidays. If Mountain Creek South is closed for any reason, all MC Kids Kamp sessions take place at the Vernon location.
Special After School MC Kids -
Talk about an after school special! This program is designed for kids who do not have the opportunity to join an afternoon skiing or snowboarding program through their school. Whether your child is a beginner or has some on-snow experience, this program provides the perfect opportunity to improve their skiing or riding skills.
The After School program is open to skiers ages 4 through 12, and snowboarders ages 6 though 12*. The sessions meet Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, January 7th through March 12th on the upper level of the South Lodge at Mountain Creek South, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This program includes three sessions of instruction, lift tickets and equipment rental.
"Learn To" Programs
Get a head start at learning how to snowboard or ski. This all-inclusive program is offered for beginners ages 6 and older, and includes a limited area lift ticket, 90 minute Group Clinic with Rossignol&tm;, Salomon&tm; and Burton&tm; rental equipment.
New this year, this program is available for purchase online! Available 10 AM to 6 PM at Vernon Base everyday and South Base 10 AM to 4 PM on weekends and holidays.
Group Clinic
This program can accommodate any level of ski or snowboard lesson. Our first-timers are encouraged to learn at the Vernon Base, but we do offer beginner group clinics at Mountain Creek South on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Clinics are 90 minutes and allow a maximum of 8 people.
Clinic times are 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM, 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
Snowboarding and skiing Group Clinics are offered for guests ages 6 and up.
Lift tickets are not included.
Tele Tuesdays
Ever wanted to learn or perfect the purist form of skiing? Started in Austria, telemark skiing utilizes a free-heeled design like that of cross country skis, but for downhill terrain.
We have some extremely talented telemark skiers on our Snow Sports School staff.
Telemark instruction is offered on Tuesday nights at 6:00 PM only, and we do not offer telemark rentals at this time.
Advance reservations are recommended.
