Burton Method Center: It will change your life!

Loon Mountain resort is proud to be in partnership with Burton Snowboards to bring you the Burton Method Center's Learn to Ride (LTR) Program. Developed three years ago by Burton Snowboards in conjunction with the American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI), LTR is an innovative learning program designed to minimize falls and accelerate learning. With the right guidance, learning to snowboard is really fun and easy. With current instruction methods that are super effective you can be linking turns your first day out. Burton board designers tested prototypes with true beginners in lessons conducted by certified AASI instructors. The instructors observed how learners fared on the different prototypes and guided the design direction. The end result produced boards, boots and bindings made specifically for learning. It is no doubt that the success of the LTR program is linked to the work of Certified AASI Instructors and Burton's product innovations.

From a graphics perspective, Burton's LTR board line doesn't make riders feel like hapless beginners by branding them with bland designs that broadcast to the world that they are rental users. The LTR graphics rock, letting riders feel comfortable. Strictly for learners, the Burton Method Centers feature the Burton LTR and Cruzer boards, as well as the Foundation SI boots and binding system. The LTR boards are not available without a lesson. The primary goal of the LTR program is to have riders linking turns comfortably their first day out, get you stoked on snowboarding, and to have you come back for more.
