Get Good your First Time! We promise... At Loon, Loon takes learning to ski or snowboard very seriously. Serious enough to offer one of the best programs in the industry. All Intro to Skiing or Snowboarding packages include state-of-the-art learning equipment from Dynastar® and Burton®, a beginner lift ticket and a 2 1/2-hour group lesson.

First Time Skier/Snowboarder? Take 3, Ski or Ride Free!

Specifically designed for those who have never skied/snowboarded before, Loon’s signature Take 3, Ski Free program allows you to take 3 days of lessons at your leisure. Loon promises to have you skiing or riding on our novice terrain your very first day. Then, simply take 2 more lesson packages and receive a Loon Mountain season pass to enjoy for the remainder of the winter!

The Take 3 Ski Free package also includes valuable offers for you to enjoy. Collect all three validations over a 3-day period, and after your third completed day, you’ll receive a Loon Mountain season pass.

To qualify for this special promotion, guests will need to purchase three complete packages, including the use of Loon Mountain Rental Equipment.

Day One: $89 includes up to 2 1/2 hours of instruction, novice lift pass, and rental equipment.
Day Two/Three: $99 includes 2 hours of instruction each day, all-mountain lift pass, and rental equipment.

Take 3, Ski/Ride Free: Day 1

Guests are encouraged to reserve this program in advance by calling (603) 745-8111 x5400. After your reservation has been made, check the Beginner's Guide to Loon for important tips to make the most of your first day on the mountain.

When you arrive, follow the signs to the West Basin Rental Shop where experienced and knowledgeable staff will get you fitted for your rentals. After you have received your equipment, head out the door to meet your instructor.

Classes start at 10:00 & 1:30 and last 2 1/2 hours.
Check in at least 1 hour prior to the start of the lesson to give you the time necessary to get your equipment.
Additional classes will be scheduled during peak periods.
Here your instructor will guide you patiently through the fundamentals of skiing or snowboarding. You will Get Good Quick™ using state-of-the-art teaching methodology and unique Smart Terrain™, specifically prepared to make your first gliding experience more fun and much easier. After your first day, you will be ready to ski or ride on our easiest lift-serviced terrain!

Take 3, Ski/Ride Free: Day 2

When you are ready for your second day, call the Reservation Center at (603)745-8111 x5400. Make sure you let the reservationist know you are reserving Part 2 of the Take 3 program.

When you arrive at the resort, go to the West Basin Rental Shop to pick up your equipment, and meet your instructor near where your first class met. Classes start at 10:00 & 1:30 and last up to 2 hours. Additional classes may be scheduled during peak periods.

You will also be issued an all-mountain lift ticket which will give you access to more advanced beginner trails, including our famous Bear Claw trail from the summit of the mountain, when you are ready.

Take 3, Ski/Ride Free: Day 3

Same program and registration process as Day 2. Again an all-mountain lift ticket will be issued, the best quality equipment, and a two-hour group lesson.

Congratulations! Here comes the fun part.... After your third day, bring the proper validation for the Take 3 Program to the Snowsports Information Center located in either base lodge and receive your VIP Season Pass to use for the rest of the winter!
