For adults (ages 16 and over), two different lesson times are offered every day of the week - choose either morning or afternoon lessons and enjoy the rest of the day skiing or riding. They offer discounts on additional days if you decide to book more than one day of lessons - just ask when you sign up. Private lessons are also available on an all day or half day basis.

Ready to kick-start that learning curve, build confidence, and enjoy the camaraderie of skiing or riding with others of your ability? Experienced skiers/riders and first-timers alike will have a blast learning to do it right in these full and half-day lessons. Skiers meet at either The Village at Copper or Union Creek. Snowboarders meet at The Village at Copper only.

Level Buster - Three Full Day Lessons for the Price of Two

Want to make the jump from first time to green runs or from green to blue runs? Then these three consecutive full day lessons are for you. We guarantee first-timers will be skiing or riding full green runs by the end of the lesson or the next lesson is free. Green-level skiers/riders will be skiing/riding blue runs by the final lesson or the next lesson is free.

It's About the Right Learning Environment...
With the right guidance learning to snowboard can be really easy, and at Copper we create an atmosphere that gives riders as young as 3 years old an unmatched introduction to snowboarding. Kids’ lessons include trampoline training and balance boards. Freestylers will master park, pipe, and rails in our nationally ranked Catalyst Terrain Park. In our groundbreaking Women’s LTR program, smaller classes, personal attention, and knowledgeable instructors make Copper the place in Colorado for girls to learn to ride.

It's About The Right Equipment...
Burton has built boards, boots, and strap bindings specifically for the learner. The LTR Board has an Ultra-soft torsional flex profile to help you initiate turns. It’s got deep sidecut to pull you into a natural carve, long transition zones for easy turns, and a 3-degree edge bevel to prevent hard falls. And women, to make your learning experience as comfortable as possible, we gear you up in the extra-soft Burton women's boot.
