Keep in mind that this review is based on this being a midwestern hill with about 200 ft of vertical. Compared to the other areas in SE Wisconsin Sunburst probably is the best hill in terms of quality and quantity of snow, best variety of terrain, and owners that actually give a hoot about the skiing/riding experience. I have skied Sunburst for about 3 decades and have seen it evolve from a run down ski area to the place it is today. They are consistently the first to open and last to close each season. They offer many week night specials that keep skiing/riding affordable for just about anyone. Avoid the weekend day crowds and your skiing riding experience is excellent.
Purchase an early season pass and a whole season can be yours for under $150.
A great place to tune up your technique for your trip to the big "hills".

Nice hill to visit and practice on before you visit a bigger resort. The tubing is very nice and very fast! Terrain park is a bit small and could've been made in a different place to be a bit bigger.

Its close to Milwaukee so you really can't complain that much thus the 4/5 value. But where it really starts to fail is when you compare to other resorts, anything else in the midwest is bigger and has a better park. So many kids talk this place up...I don't know what to say to that....
The jumps are fairly small and I think they carve their pipe less than once a month. Its only 150 vert.
