i've ridden somewhere around 20 different resorts, and i'd have to say that bluewood is "pound for pound" the best ski resort that i have been to. it only has one real chairlift, yet it is placed in a perfect area. the best tree riding i have ever done! the people who work there are super nice! the runs offer something for everyone. my girlfriend learned how to ride there, lots of hidden places inside the trees. the mountain is a trip because while you are driving there, no snow..... then out of nowhere there is this mountain full of snow. the air smells awesome out there, pure. good mountain that is a total secret! the only place to stay the night is at the "ghetto" dayton inn. the best place for breakfast is this little cafe with a drivethrough, i suggest the bagel and eggs sandwich. the town and ski resort is a good place to go to get away from all the hype and crowds of other resorts. bluewood is what ski resorts should be like....... just fun!~
