Just booked my rooms for six Burke ski weekends (including five days during the Christmas break...YES!). After years of skiing NH, I took a co-workers advice and stayed at the St. Johsnbury Comfort Inn and skied Burke. My wife and kids have promised to leave me if I book anywhere else. The rooms are spacious and breakfast is awesome for the kids. I'm not complaining, but I like more protein in the morning. Ok, so I am complaining a little...but I do it often. One thing I can't complain about is this hotel and Burke. The hotel has a great pool and the kids love the arcade. Burke is simply Vermont's best kept secret. No other mountain can claim to be as family friendly as Burke. The ski package price is the same as last year which makes it an even better deal for this year. You can't beat $159 for room, breakfast and two adult lift tickets. Be sure to plan your evening meals in advance. Local restaurants fill up early and can make eating a hassle. Be sure to visit Littleton, NH and see Chutter's General Store. The store is in the book of world records for having the longest candy counter. It's worth the 15 minute drive to check it out. SKI BURKE!!!
