This was the first place I learned to ski, and the lessons were great. On Friday and Saturday, the resort is extremly crowded, but on Sundays, it is practically empty. The front mountain is one main trail with a few small routes going off it. All together, it is a good resort for the less intense skier. It is a great place to learn and make a small day trip. I have not been to other Utah resorts, but Sundance was a good expirience. The food prices are more expensive when the ski resort is more crowded. A hot dog went from one dollar on thursday to four dollars on friday.
