We stayed at the Cliff Lodge three nights this week. The room was great. The view was great. The layout of the common areas is confusing at best. Signage within the hotel is poor. Food was high priced but marginal.
The Snowbird Center was about 200 meters away but a hassle to get to and from. Snowbird center also had a non-intuitive layout and flow.
To top things off, Snowbird itself was the most confusing mountain we've ever skied (and we've skied a lot of places)

Bottom line is that we never quite clicked with any aspect of the Snowbird experience.
On the positive side: After spending our first day being frustrated by cat-walks and lack of signage at Snowbird, we skied our last two days at Alta. Alta was one of the best laid out and best marked, best grromed mountains we've ever skied.
