Shawnee is probably the best mountain i've skiied on all year, not alot of icy spots, there were some thin spots, but not much. i an a regular intermediate skiier, and some of this terrain was extremley easy given their rating of difficulty. A blue square at shawnee would be rated at a green where i live (jiminy peak, windham mountain). I loved shawnee, and it's worth going back too. Shawnee is great for a beginner, or intermediate.

However, if you are thinking of going to shawnee, be prepared for RUDE PEOPLE!!! i cant tell you the rude people i have come across at shawnee, and its not just service, it's also rude skiiers that will bump into you without apologizing, throw snowballs at you from the ski lift, cut you off, and they basicly ski on top of you like they dont even care.

Dispite the terrible service and skiiers, the mountain wasn't crowded at all at the lifts, and i was surprised because it was on a weekend! as far as activities, i didnt do any, so thats why i didnt give it a rating.

shawnees a good mountain, not challenging at all but it has 2 good terrain parks, a good atmosphere and not too many crowds
