I am so disgusted with these guys!!! this was my worst experience ever! these guys are just looking for the ways to rip you off!! We were planning a wedding at Camelback Ski Resort, Tannersville, PA. The wedding coordinator, Mary Bianco, was giving us all sorts of false information for 2 months. She is completely unprofessional. Instead of asking for 2-3 k for the reception, food and beverages, like we were told before, they asked for 13k in the final proposal!!! Here's some examples of how they violated the initial agreement: tent rental 6k instead of $250, as promised; we were told, there's no location fee, although THERE IS ONE! we were told, they would provide us with chairs, tables and dance floor although THEY DIDN'T! dinner: $50 per person instead of 45, as listed on their website. AND MANY MANY MANY MORE examples!!!

Mediocre resort, the crowds were absurd, (the line for rentals was about 2.5 hours) and by the time we got rentals, they were out of certain sizes of skis and were making substitutions or asking people to wait for returns.
The trails, arguably the best part of the resort, only suit intermediate to advanced skiers. Their beginner trails are poorly marked, few and far between, and overly crowded. The advanced trails are too easy for those accustomed to skiing in Colorado.
Service wise, the staff is a bit lazy, uninformed, and sometimes downright rude. There were multiple instances of being brushed aside when requesting help and multiple instances of staff members standing idly by while lines formed out the door.
And suffice to say, the price that they charge is definitely not worth the experience you get. The food, which is understandably overpriced, was not fresh and caused a member of our party to get two days worth of food poisoning.
In conclusion, avoid at all costs unless you really have no other choice. Skiing in Colorado, New York, and even Vermont are likely better.

This is were learned to ride last season, it was good to me and learned pretty fast, it can get a bit icy and that can mean a broken tail bone for a leaner but oh well thats life, take it as they come. As far as the slopes goes they a good variety of blue and greens, and some nice blacks I believe they even have one double black. The crowds are not bad I went on a powder day and it was ok, the lodge got horribly crowded they need more space. The price is a bit high, gut I think this probably the best in PA. There is plenty of lodging around the area so you can shop around. They have good grooming and plenty of snow making, the park is ok but I think bear creek has a better park. This 06/07 being my second season, I planned better trips, such as Denver, Lake Tahoe and Northern Vermont, being in South Florida its expensive to travel north so i rather pay more and avoid going to PA, but if I find my self in PA again most probably Camel back would be my resort to go.
