March 1, 2008. Ski Lift was not working. Unbelieveable. There was no discount offered to anyone for those who wanted to walk up the hill. Very disappointing. The Lodge was very dirty. The bathrooms were disgusting. Having heard that this place was recently updated and newly constructed I expected so much more. Very disappointed. Suggest that it is good for beginners. Once you learn. Travel to Seven Springs worth you money and time.

These stats about this place was wrong, I went today to Boyce ski park and was disappointed, there was not 9 slopes, there was only 3. There was one ski lift that went 2 mph. I was bored with the slopes by a half an hour. I went in line to buy snow tube passes, and when I was in line, the guy said it was closed. The terrain park was terrible, no half pipe, no jumps, and the whole slope was covered in ice. I would recommend this place for beginner skiers only, if your a good skier, then don't come to Boyce. Thank You.

Boyce was closed for the 2006-2007 season due to substantial work on the facility, The improved facility sounds like it is on-track with what Boyce is about; a convenient local slope with an emphasis on family and learning skiing. This is a great place for a Sunday afternoon if you only have a couple of hours.
