A group of students, in a Spanish Club, saved their money and purchased all the items neccessary for a fun, freezing day of snow boarding and skiing. They chartered a bus and got there around 11:00. They stored their belongings where they were instructed, went out for a fun-filled day of snow boarding, and returned to find many of the students' ENTIRE BELONGINGS had been STOLEN !! I called, they refused to give me the managers name, they told the students "Oh Well, that can happen" and the students all felt they had been patronized! I would not have to present this problem this way if any one from the resort would speak with me and help us resolve everything!! Because I know these things" Can Happen", I expected assistance for the students. Their money, warm clothes, extra clothes, boots or shoes, packed meals, many of these things had just DISAPPEARED, and these students had been treated without any concern or resolution. The manager wouldn't speak with me on the phone, I hope the police were called and reports filed. Ideally, you would expect to find these items with those who had access to them or somehow misplaced nearby. This happened today, Sat. Feb.10, 2007. It is now 6:27 and I can only hope that this has been resolved! If there are misunderstandings on my part, and everything has been found, I would be happy to revise my statement and apologize! I know how much the students were LOOKING FORWARD to this exciting outdoor adventure! When this is resolved, I would be happy to report on the fun snow activities!!
