I have stayed here several times, over the years, in different seasons. When I re-married,(after 27 years of being single), my new wife and I spent a wonderful wintertime Honeymoon here. We will definitely return for our 1st Anniversery. The staff has always been very friendly and accommodating. Their hospitality is outstanding. The setting is exceptional with several different types of quaint, private, clean Cabins and Lodge rooms available. From the resort there is easy access to many forms of outdoor activities to include: Skiing (Downhill, Cross-Country, and Back-Country), Snowshoeing, Hiking, Boating (paddling, sailing, motor), and quiet wildlife watching. Access to many beautiful Cascade Mountain lakes are also with in easy acccess. I would highly reccommend this resort setting for anyone looking for an enjoyable, relaxing get away.

The Kokanee Lodge at Shelter Cove provides the best lodging option while skiing at Willamette Pass. From your deck you will be able to see the slopes of the resort. The folks at Shelter Cove went to particular effort to create a genuine ski lodge feel to the four units that make up the Kokanee Lodge. Their other cabins are homey and fun too. While there is no on site dining the kitchen are well appointed. Just pack down what you need and enjoy your stay. There is the small general store for those items you may have forgotten, including beer, wine, ice cream and popcorn. Check it out. A nice place to stay only two miles from Willamette Pass. The closest lodging to any ski resort in Oregon aside from Mt. Hood.
