Understand that I am rating this as compared to other Ohio locations. Meaning that I rate the terrain a 4, but compared to western U.S. ski resorts there is no comparison. But for flat Ohio, it is not to bad. I went during weekend extended hours that ran until 3:00 AM, during the first cold streak of the year, and had a pretty good time. You can get bored pretty quickly here, but the upkeep of the location is pretty good. It had not snowed much if at all in central Ohio this year, but there was a good base due to the snowmaking equipment. I was pretty impressed in fact, because there had not been many days with below freezing temperatures. I spent most of my time at the terrain park which was pretty good and challenging. The value is not great but what I expect, it is the only game in town and you have to pay a premium, I don't fault them for that. Crowds weren't bad at all for saturday after first snow and cold of the year. I have been to Brandywine and Boston Mills in Cleveland, this place was much better. If you can't drive to New York state, this isn't a bad place for half a day. Probably a great place to learn due to the easy nature of the hills.

It is nice and big and there are a lot of runs. The runs are cool because they have some bumps and hills on them. The terrain park is amazing. It is very expensive. The food is extremely expensive. It costs $4.00 for a HOT DOG!! It also gets pretty icy when there is a lot of man made snow, but overall it is one of my favorite places to ski.

Terrains pretty good for a place in Ohio. Pretty ICY at times this year but its just the warm winter. Overall they do a great job maintaining the slopes. The terrain park is pretty killer but watch for people around you its really crowded pretty much everywhere during weekends. Lodge foods very $expensive$ suggest to pack if your planing on going. They have a pretty good range of trails. Some mogle action at the summit (like 5 mogles) some woods trails and some pretty steep slopes in the mix also. The value is not the greatest. Paying for a ticket to go on the weekend isnt the best thing to do. Best thing to do is go on a week day when its less crowded. Some times on the weekend its faster to walk up the hill than wait in line to go up on the lifts.
