Oak Mountain is a GREAT family ski center!! Each and every employee is wonderful. They smile and are happy to help! My children have had a few ski lessons and the instructors are fantastic. I can't say enough good things about this place. On the way home we always say,"What a great day!"

I just visited Oak Mountain this past sunday and got a chance to see the new rennovations! You have got to check this place out! They have a new cozy and rustic bar and resturant steps from the lifts. The price is at least half of bigger places, but do not mistake it. This is a beautiful place with scenic panorams of snow covered peaks, from atop the mountain. The runs are impressive for an intermediate skier and conditions excellent. I am throwing away my discount pass to windham and hunter. This place is my #1 choice and is only 50 miles from Amsterdam. There is a beautiful drive to speculator and plenty of views and stops along the way if you continue north. My summation is simply..Oak Mountain is the best kept secret in the Adirondacks and New York!
