Martock is a very confidence inspiring beginner area that is often carefully manicured and upkept.

+ Best lodge in the maritimes tied with Poley in NB.
+ Best lifts in the maritimes, Quad chair and 2 t-bars with easy runways.
+100% trails and lifts for night skiing
+ Perfect grade half pipe and great terrain park area

- Shallow grade, even blue square trails should be marked green there.

-Not recommended for strong intermidiates and advanced skiers unless they like parks and pipes.

-Sometimes quite crowded, fed by City of Halifax but there's usually enough lifts to handle it.
