HV, I wonder how the place stays in business...with new owners things really have not changed 4 the better as of yet, but with that said HV is a fun little hill to get some turns in. The Triple chair is slow and old. the chicken ridge double is from the old milton snow bowl(OLD)!!! Time 2 replace the lifts guys and get the snow guns up and running. The rentals are older than dirt and the workers look like they are on drugs! My son and I smelled pot when we were on the triple chair lift. I hope the new owners will take care of the operations there. the old manager also was not the nicest guy in the world(John Shemma) The guy was swearing at some of the workers right in front of us, I 4 one will never go back there.

Hidden is the "baby stepsister" to Mountain Creek. You can see one area from the other. Since "Creek" is always too crowded, the locals go to Hidden Valley, even though it's pretty small. A great place to learn how to ski or ride, since they have a separate slope (and lift) just for beginners. The down side for nubbies is that they don't have a good "easy run" from the top. The only beginner trail from the top has one steep section that eats new skiers and spits out the pieces in the middle of the run. Overall, a nice little area for families looking for a day trip.
