The new Crotched is my favorite ski area ... I've skied all around New England and nobody has snow conditions as good as this mountain! Plenty of room on the hill, so crowds and lift lines aren't a problem. I think on the busiest day I skied last year, the max lift line was only about a minute or so. Great pitch on the terrain, plus plenty of glade skiing for us woodchucks. If you're a 1-planker, the terrain parks at Crotched can't be beat. Here's my recommendation: If you're sick of the same old stuff in New England, try Crotched... they really are doing things different and better than the rest of the pack!
