Nubs Nob is amazing!! my cousin works there and he has been loving it for almost 10 years! I love the terrain parks and the fast "SPEED LIFTS" they are amazing because the lifts by my place are painfully slow :-( If I where you I would get my lazy butt off the couch and go snowboard at Nubs!!! The prices are great and the slopes are good with the freshest powdery snow perfect for any skier or snowboarder.

I have been skiing at Nubs for 20+ years. Great skiing. Nice lodge and food. Lift lines are usually very short, mainly due added lifts and runs. Also like to ski at Boyne Highlands across the street, but spend more time at Nubs. Nubs is better for getting out and back to the runs that you want to ski.

Nubs is tight! I love the variety of runs Nubs has to offer - from the groom to the awesome new Tower Glades where I was skiing some nice knee-deep pow. This place is, of course, small compared to out west, but for Michigan it's awesome! Each time you load on a lift, the operators are real nice. The terrain park here is awesome - they have some awesome hits, nice rails, and the new superpipe is massive. The only downside here is that food is expensive, and my wallet emptied out fast in the lodge, but overall, the skiing is fantastic!

I rated this based on other midwest ski areas. They do a good job compared to other Michigan resorts. The crowds seem a little better than at the Boynes and less large groups all skiing together. The tree runs serviced by the 'J' bar that also services the super pipe are excellent when there is fresh snow. I actually didn't feel like I was in Michigan for a few minutes.

Excellent Snow and Service. Crowds are well controlled. Like all michgan ski areas there isnt much verticle for the dollar.
