The conditions couldn't have been better Christmas week! Hands down the best resort in lower Michigan. Friendly liftees and room to explore. Well done Boyne!

We're been spending a week at the Highlands for the past 11 consercutive years. It doesn't get better in the mid-west than the highlands. There are a LOT of ways of getting down the hill here. The ski school is the best, especially for kids and grandkids. We'll be going back for years . . .

Highlands is pretty awesome. I've been here a few times now, and each time it gets better. I like the wide variety of runs off the hi-speed quad, and the crazy awesome terrain parks. The superpark here is incredible. The hits are massive, but yet very smooth, just like out west. The blacks are fun, the Dark Side is cool, and the groom is fun to carve down, since these runs are pretty long for a Michigan ski resort. Since Nubs is accross the street from Highlands, and I've been to both, Highland's runs are longer and the food is cheaper. Overall, Highlands is one of the best from Michigan.

Great Midwest ski resort. Nice facilities. Good runs. The snow is okay. Lodging are good and the food in the area is excellent. Nice place for a 3-4 day stay.

Everything is relative. We're talking Michigan resorts here. But compared to every other lower peninsula ski resort (been to them all in my 48 years), the Highlands has the best runs. If you're a boarder, get on the lift to the back hill first thing in the morning. You'll have that hill all to yourself for a couple hours.
