This is a great place to go for beginners! The food is cheap and the lift lines are short!

Not very expensive, but you get what you pay for...
The staff is very friendly and try to help whenever needed.
Overall, the crowds aren't too bad. Weekends are busy as expected -- we just had a big snow last Friday that brought a big crowd.
Snowstar offers a very fair mix of green and blue runs, although none of them are very long.
There aren't many activities here other than snow tubing, which a few people partake in. There is no lodge on site, only a small restaurant (food isn't too expensive, either).
Overall I'd recommend driving another hour and a half to get to Chestnut Mountain, which offers a much bigger and better experience for a little more money.

This is the worst place to go in the midwest! It is very small and not well kept. The cafeteria food is bad also. Note to the webmaster...please do not censor this review!
