The Nexstage Theater in Ketchum, Idaho, is one of my favorite regional theaters, on a par with Williamstown and Westport in terms of the passion and professionalism that the players and organizers bring to the performances. Some of my favorite recent performances were A Christmas Carol, Wait Until Dark, Light up the Sky, and Much Ado About Nothing. They may perform Ira Levin's Deathtrap this fall. The Nexstage also runs a theater education program for adults and children staffed by equity actors from New York City.
