During the weekend of the Humanitaria Bowl (football) Bogus had a special of bogo, but only for out of staters. Leaving the locals out in the cold.

They also do not believe in grooming during the day, which makes for really bad skiing and boarding.

You pay way to much to ski at such a poorly run area.

God, what to say...
Bogus is where I learned to board... By the way, they have an awesome learn to ski/board program... like $199 for season equipment lease, 4 excellent lessons, and a season pass upon completion.
The terain is really not as hard as the ratings would lead one to believe. The double blacks aren't as hard as a double black should be in my opinion. That said, Bogus has a ton of variation in terain, and just tons of terrain in general. The snow isn't always awesome, but when it's only half an hour away, just go when the snow looks good. I bought my season pass for $229, so no complianing there.
Crowds???

The night skiing is sweet, and uh...

Well, it's just a blast.
An as someone else said, yes it is a locals mountain, but when there's a town 30 minutes away, who cares?
