We have stayed at Thunder Mountain twice in the winter and four times in the summer. The location near the mountain makes it convenient for skiing as well as mountain biking in the summer. The resort is a very rustic, but clean lodge. Because there are a small number of units, we have experienced a very pleasant visit each time: cooking out, sitting on the balcony in the morning and evening, and leaving our windows open at night in the summer.
The resort was very accomodating one year when we had a special need for wheel chair accessiblty.
