The McGinnis Cottage is a very friendly, very clean establishment. A real diamond in the rough. Leadville is an authentic rough and tumble 1800's mining town rich in history and scenic beauty. I highly reccomend Leadville and the McGinnis Cottage. It's just a 1/2 hour from Vail and Summit County ( Copper, Keystone, Breckenridge and A-Basin ). There's a quaint little ski hill just 10 min. outside of town as well, Ski Cooper. Cooper is rich in history in its own right. A great place for children and begginers.
