The Vintage was a beautiful resort as far as the building is concern. It is in a very good location. All of the slops and lifts are right in the area of the resort. It has good views from the room windows.

But when I arrived at the resort my wife and I did not receive the type of greeting that I thought we should receive or that I felt we should have received. The staff was not the friendliest. The weather was cold but the staff did not have to be. We just did not seem as if we were welcome. When we asked questions the staff did answer, but did not seem to be enthusiatic about answering our questions. I did not want to think that it was because a racial issue, but oh well.

The rooms were fine. I was pleased with the room as far as the size and look, but the fold up, hide away type bed was not good at all. It was uncomfortable and the sofa also was a little worn and low. The water pressure in the bathroom sink was low, but the water got hot quickly (that's good).

Overall we made the best of this winter vacation that we had planned. On the last morning we got up out of the bed and God had blessed the area with a new beautiful white coat of snow. It was was snowing and it was beautiful.
