The weekend at Strawberry Inn was most enjoyable stay I had in 20 years traveling. The owners created outstanding atmosphere with European flavor...... original paintings & decorations, delicious home food, desserts and great service from European exchange students. The owners are very friendly and hospitable . I found the Hotel & Restaurant every day spotless. Someone is always cleaning. Go and see for yourself.

I stopped for lunch as I had not been back to the Inn for a few years and I guess it has changed ownership. I gave stayed here in the past and it was excellent under the old owners.
The Inn is no longer the friendly, inviting establishment it once was. The new owners and all new (no friendly knowledgeable oldtimers) staff are not welcoming, helpful or nice. The food which was once excellent has declined to worse than Denny's. Beautiful diningroom with the river view is no longer used, eat in the bar. I asked to see a room and found the cleanliness and amenities has dropped drastically and the prices are out of line for what you get.
