This was a great skiers mountain before Snow Summit took it over. Now it's mostly geared toward boarders. Parks and hits all over the mountain and the runs are all broken up with slow speed zones. Geranimo and inspiration (maintained for racing so you can rip it and the lines are short at the two person chair that services it, if you go past it you will be dumped into a green run with a really bad flat spot - painful for skiers and boarders will have to walk) are the only two runs worth skiing, the rest are full of boarders sprawled out everywhere and slow speed zones.

If you wish to have real, fun come to Bear mid week. Dont be a fool and think that a weekend or a holiday will give you short lines. Bear has one of the best Lesson programs I have ever seen.So take your time and take a lesson you will blow your friends away faster than you know it with just a few tricks. See you on the slopes
