i have to disagree with Rachel. i found Slocums great. the food was perfect, and the service was amazing. Scott and Brian did everything to make us want to come back. we eat there everytime we're in Mammoth.

At Slocum's I received the most awful service I have ever experienced. In such a small town that thrives on tourists, you would think that the waitstaff would be on their toes. The waittress was terribly rude, and made us feel like we were an inconvenience to her. I'm not big on causing scenes, so we had one drink and left the resturant without having dinner because we were so turned off by the vibe in this restaurant.
