Between the rude staff and old slow lifts, Red Mountain is a big disappointment. The lodge is hardly a cafeteria with a rude kitchen staff. I spent 70 percent of my time at Red on the old, slow lifts. Red charges 20 dollars too much for a lift ticket for what you get. I would advise anyone to stay away from Red Mountain "Resort" if you can call it that.

This is the place you need to go to get the bug again. This is real skiing with real people who love how it is stoking first timers. This is not a posers mountain or a posers hangout this is a skiers trip for real skiing. We will be back soon.Stay the way you are Red.

Gong show, the developers at the ski hill have ruined a dream. Once a destination now an abused logging slash, with 30 year old lifts and a joke of a facility at its base. Maybe they will clean it up, because it was once the BEST.

Red Resort is one of the best places I've ever skied at, and my family loves it to. I rank myself as an expert skier, and I get my plate full at Red, but my family of three children and my wife absolutely love the Paradise Basin. I went on January of last year and the snow was incredible. The staff is so friendly and we really had a great time there. We stayed at the Ram's Head Inn, a great first class accommodation on the mountain.

My only gripe is that there is lots of beautiful terrain off bounds, but I hear that there will be a huge terrain expansion in the future when new lifts are added.
