Powder King has no infrastructure, is in the middle of nowhere and a slow chairlift that stops frequently however they do have a restaurant and what they call a hotel which is comprised of Atco Trailers and shared washrooms (hostel Style). The snow conditions can be excellent when there is new snow but very hard to ski once that new snow gets a crust. This is the only mountain I have ever skied where you unload off the chair and have to climb uphill in order to ski down!

Nevermind that there's really no place to stay, and there's no nightlife, the skiing is so damn good you won't care that you're sleeping in a rats nest, passed out at 7:30pm.

I have held a season pass to Whistler Mountain for every year since 1986, and I have really seen the quality of snow that I skied at Powder King in Feb/04 - when I'd like to remind you, most skis hills in BC were CLOSED or barely open due to warm weather. And when we get that big snow dump in Whistler, its skied out by 10am.

Simply put, Powder King has the best lift accessed snow in BC, probably Canada.
