El Chanate offers an authentic Mexican menu with traditional dishes and a wide range of spice levels.
Enjoy the cozy fireplace in this quaint little restaurant or sit outside on the patio during the summer months. Expect fast service, delicious food and a great value. We are a family friendly restaurant.
El Chanate offers up the most popular Mexican dishes like our Carne Asada, with sirloin marinated in tequila and lime juice, served with sweet peppers and tortillas. Among our specialties are also the Chicken Venganza, sautéed with pasilla peppers, the traditional Pork Carnitas and Chile Verde.
From our a la carte menu choose from tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas and burritos, all personalized to your taste. If indecisive, try a combination platter, all of them served with our seasoned rice and beans.
Not in the mood for Mexican? El Chanate offers popular American dishes, from rib-eye steak and grilled salmon to hamburgers and French fries.
After a long day out on the mountain, check out the black bean nachos or shrimp crisps - both popular choices with the après ski set. Wash it down with a shot of tequila from the award-winning selection or a local draft beer. For the perfect margarita, El Chanate offers the largest tequila selection in Utah.
