After a full day of fun skiing at Dodge Ridge or swiming at Pinecrest Lake, a solid, well-cooked meal is always a welcome treat. The Steam Donkey Restaurant features a casual atmosphere with great American cuisine. Whether you sit at the bar or take advantage of the patio seating on those warm, summer nights, your bound to enjoy more than just your food. The small, but cozy establishment has been part of the Pinecrest Lake Resort community since 1973. But the history goes way beyond that. It's said that the huge timbers supporting the structure came from the old Westside Lumber Co. Railroad's Borland Trestle. The Steam Donkey is named after a piece of logging equipment used in the woods. The food is delicious, and the ambiance priceless. Business Hours
