I really enjoyed myself here! The snow was a little sticky and I found it hard to find a shop open to buy wax. Parking kind of sucked too.

Great terrain, if you like to fight (literally) with snowboarders from Seattle. Rude lifties, & I actually saw a fight break out in a lift line. Did I mention rude lifties?

The sun was shining, and it has snowed more than a foot earlier in the week, so it was a great day at Stevens Pass.
It took us about 1 hour 45 minutes to get to Stevens Pass from the Seattle area on President's Weekend. No real traffic either way. There are plenty of lifts at the base area to quickly disperse the crowd so there was no long wait to get going. Stevens Pass must have the largest terrain park in the state! There are all sorts of jumps and rails, and it has its own lift. It was fun to watch some of those kids going off the jumps from the Skyline Express lift. The only places to eat are at the base area. There is no mid-mountain lodge. Nevertheless, it did not seem too crowded since we were able to enjoy the sunny day. Overall a wonderful day, and we will be back.
