Lots of varied terrain, but quickly tracked out and long lines on weekends. Like many areas, their description of conditions tends to be overly optimistic--two feet of new powder ends up being a few inches on most of the mountain. Like most northwest skiing, conditions can vary widely on the mountain depending upon exposure and what has been hardened by the sun/freezing. The new north country area opens up some good expert terrain, but all funnels into what quickly become icy bumps at the bottom. All-in-all the best that the Seattle area has to offer.

Crystal is great but Boyne is ruining it - lift tickets 58 bucks?? are you kidding me? come on...this isn't a snobby Colorado aki resort...you're in western WA, who can afford these prices.
