Made a one-day run up to PM in between days at Snowbird and Park City. And while there was about 9 inches of fresh snow there, what a difference a hundred miles made. Unlike the fluffy powder of Little Cottonwood Canyon, the PM powder was denser and lacked the "fluff" sensation. Also, the mountain layout is a bit disjointed; it make take two chairlift rides to get to where you want to be.

This has to be one of my favorite places to Board. The price is good, there's really never a line for the lifts. It's called Powder Mountain for a reason.. the powder is insane!! There's not much to do outside of skiing and boarding, but if you hit all 7,000 acres you won't feel like doing much afterwards anyway!

Childhood playground. Learned to snowboard here. Not a huge resort but plenty of bang for your buck.
