If you want a great skiing experience and you are not exclusively a double or triple black skier, this is the place, especially if you are not price sensitive.

On the other hand, if you are occasionally featured in Warren Miller films, on a strict budget, you probably want to go somewhere else. Deer Valley is unique and not for everyone, but it is my favorite place to ski for the obvious reason--limited crowds, no snowboarders, extensive grooming, great kids programs, higher levels of service than anywhere else.

But I am middle-aged and not particularly good (easy blacks are my limit). Even though the stats say it has a 3000 foot drop, it's really half that, but that's totally fine for me. So, if this sound appealing, then join us Deer Valley fans, but if this sounds boring, then you probably should go somewhere else because you probably would like somewhere else better and spend 30% less.
