Why do we ski? We ski because we love snow. We ski to find that magic we experienced as children when all was new and curious. With that said Snow Creek is first rate for a first-timer. Snow Creek possesses all that your mega resorts in our neighbors to the West have albeit on a much less grand scale(i.e. ski lifts ski school quaint little town and a whole lotta fun). Keep that in mind and you will find yourself having a great time at this tiny ski hill. Do not come here with grandiose visions of champagne powder and 2500' vertical etc. P.S.(I skied in 8" of powder here last year, a rare treat.)
