I'm not a good barometer because I'm from the west, but I can say I've been to worse spots out east.

Top 5 in the east. Sugarloaf always has great snow compared to other resorts in maine. It somtimes seems like when other resorts have ice Sugarloaf/Saddleback have powder.
Sugarloaf is by far best in maine.
