Want to have a good time at Butternut....Go on a nice spring day with a cooler full of beer...I'm not sure where the bashing comes from....Yes it is crowded but the lodge is far from disgusting...What some call disgusting others with a less pretentious point of view would call rustic...Hey..It ain't Aspen..Don't expect that...It's skiing in Southern Massachusetts...Just like most skiing in Mass...It is what you make of it...Overall, good but not great place for a family ski day
